Part II

In Part II, the work moves outward. The mountains, roads, and open fields of Linares begin to speak alongside the portraits. The landscape holds its own history, one that shaped my parents long before it shaped me.

Where Part I focused on proximity, Part II sits with distance. Standing in the places I had only imagined, I began to understand how land carries memory differently than people do... quietly, but persistently.

These images continue the act of creating visual heirlooms, widening the definition of home to include not only faces, but terrain.
